Does e-Residency let me live in Estonia?
No. It is a digital identity for running the company online. Residence requires a separate permit; the Startup Visa is the most common route.
Why is the residence route rated hard?
The business residence permit requires at least €65,000 invested in the Estonian company plus real operations; the Startup Visa requires approval by the Startup Committee.
What about banking?
Estonian banks rarely open accounts for non-residents; most e-residents use licensed EU payment institutions, which we set up with you.
